- Dear Mr. Selig, PLEASE consider lifting the lifetime ban on Pete Rose - I am 39 years old, and always a die hard Yankee fan growing up, but I always admired the way Pete played, and I feel he has done his time. I mean there are allot worse things in the world to do than bet your team will win.
